One Week In

So it has been one week since I started my 12 week transformation and I feel GREAT!!!! I cant believe how much energy I have and how healthy I feel.  It is amazing how quickly your body responds to proper nutrition and exercise.  Yesterday I went to a figure and fitness show here in Victoria and Tosca Reno was a guest speaker. She is an author of like 10 books, has been on the cover of oxygen 6 times, and she used to compete as well! It was a very motivational day, just to see all the models and how hard they have worked to get where they are, as well as Tosca talking about clean eating.  I definitely feel just as motivated as I did last week and I cant wait to continue on this path :)

The Start of a New Begining!

So it is November 5th today, which is my half birthday, AND the day I start to change my life!!

I am ,by no means, overweight, i am actually pretty fit and always have been. I love living an active and healthy lifestyle, however I love indulging in (beer and chocolate) as well.   This isn't the start of a super inspiring weight loss journey, its the beginning of me toning up for good and creating the body I have always dreamed of having.  My references, meal plans, and workouts are all ones used by woman competing in figure competitions.  My current goal is not to compete, it is just to get a figure-competition worthy body.

Okay, so here is my short term goal (12 weeks) to be completed by Jan. 28

-To lose 15 lbs of fat and gain 5 lbs of lean muscle.
-To follow my nutrition plan by using strong willpower and inner strength.
-To follow my training routine.

I will check in every saturday with my progress.

Here are my starting stats.

Height: 5'8
Weight: 150 lbs
Waist. 28.5 inches
Hips: 40
Thigh: 23
Knee: 15.2
Calf: 15
Chest: 29.1

In the past I have given up because I don't see immediate results.  I know I am strong enough to achieve these goals, I will not give up and i WILL reach these goals by Jan. 28.

My long term goals to be achieved in 6 months (Fitness and Health Related Only)

I would love to weigh ideally 125 lbs and be very lean.
I am open to the idea of being a figure/fitness model.
I want to have a very healthy way of eating to ensure my body gets all required nutrients for a long and healthy life.

My meal plan for Nov. 5 to Nov. 12 is

Meal 1:  4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1/3 cup of oat bran
Meal 2: Small amount of fruit and half cup of go lean crunch
Meal 3: Chicken and veggies
Meal 4: Protein shake or Protein Bar
Meal 5: Chicken or Fish and Veggies
